"This land resembles no other place. Sardinia is something else. Enchanting spaces and distances to travel-nothing finished, nothing definitive. It is like freedom itself." ― D.H. Lawrence, Sea and Sardinia
It's already time for my next research trip - to Italy and France! I depart on Saturday for my first visit to Sardinia, and I'm so excited. Thanks to winning a drawing at a Hyatt event, I'll check in at 7Pines Resort Sardinia, right on the beach along the island's Emerald Coast. This independent Destination by Hyatt property participates in the Hyatt Privé program, which also means my receive all the following.

After exploring Sardinia, I take a quick, inexpensive, one-hour flight from Sardinia to Florence on Volotea airline, which really conveniently connects smaller cities throughout Europe on nonstop flights. I'll be met at the airport and taken to Pisa for this year's Buy Tuscany conference as an invited, hosted buyer. Buy Tuscany is one of my favorite annual networking opportunities because I get to connect with hoteliers and operators I often work with while learning about attractions and wine and farm estates that offer wonderfully authentic and comfortable accommodations in the Tuscan countryside. Plus the pre and post tours organized by Buy Tuscany are always creatively designed with off-the-beaten path itinieraries filled with Tuscan delights. I'll tell you more about those tours when I'm in Italy next week!
After Buy Tuscany ends, I fly again on Volotea nonstop from Florence to Marseille, France to begin a dream-come-true familiarization trip through southern France. I'll be hosted by Key 2 Business, who market the Relais & Chateaux properties my small group of travel advisors will blissfully experience; the ones highlighted in the list are are also Virtuoso properties you can book yourself at my affiliate site, where you automatically receive Nine Muses Travel's VIP benefits and amenities. We'll be staying at La Bonne Etape in Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban, La Villa Gallici in Aix-en-Provence, L’hôtel Les Roches Blanches in Cassis, La Villa Calvi on Corsica, and Hotel Le Saint Paul in Saint-Paul-de-Vence.
If you haven't already, please like and follow Nine Muses Travel on Facebook or Instagram, where I post daily highlights as I relax and wind down for the night during my work trips. I typically don't spend time adding filters because I also work when back at my room. The business goes on while I'm traveling, and as always, my cell phone is never turned off. I'm 100% available to my clients, and they take top priority no matter where I am in the world.
I post photos and videos when I travel because it's important to me that you discover destinations while I do, so we see what inspires you too. If Sardinia, Tuscany, or the South of France have been on your list, then come follow along with me these next few weeks!
